Refund Policy

Built by Jarvis (operating brand of RH Private Capital) wants every customer to feel confident about the money they spend with us. This policy explains exactly when refunds are available, when they’re not, and how to request one.
1. Free services (no charge, no refund needed)
The following Jarvis Ranks services are free of charge and do not require a payment method. No refund is needed because no money changes hands:
- The free letter-grade SEO scan and emailed report card.
- The questionnaire and the resulting site preview, delivered within 24 hours.
- All free demo content on jarvisranks.com and builtbyjarvis.com.
2. Jarvis Ranks — one-time fees
Just the Site — $3,000 one-time rebuild
You may request a full refund of the $3,000 rebuild fee within 72 hours of payment, provided our developers have not yet started building your site. “Started building” means any of the following has occurred:
- An AI-generated preview has been rendered for your business.
- Our team has begun custom copy, layout, design, or schema work on your behalf.
- Your live site has been deployed to a domain.
Once any of the above has happened, the $3,000 fee becomes non-refundable, because real labor and inference cost has been spent on your project. We will, however, continue to iterate with you within the 30-day post-launch support window to make sure the site meets your expectations.
Setup fee — $1,500 (Site + Stay-At-Top tier)
The $1,500 setup fee for the Site + Stay-At-Top tier is half off the $3,000 rebuild price, contingent on completing the 12-month Stay-At-Top commitment. It is refundable within 72 hours of payment only if our developers have not yet begun building. Once a preview has been rendered or custom build work has begun, the setup fee is non-refundable. If you later cancel Stay-At-Top before the 12-month commitment is complete, the $1,500 setup-discount difference also becomes due (see Section 4 below).
3. Jarvis Ranks — recurring subscriptions
Stay-At-Top monthly maintenance — $395/month
Stay-At-Top is billed in full at the start of each monthly period. We do not pro-rate or refund partial months when you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access to maintenance services and your monthly report card until then.
4. Site + Stay-At-Top — 12-month commitment + early-cancel math
The Site + Stay-At-Top tier carries a 12-month minimum commitment. You may cancel early at any time, but you will be charged two amounts, billed at the time of cancellation:
- (a) The remaining monthly Stay-At-Top fees owed under the 12-month commitment (months remaining × $395).
- (b) The $1,500 setup-discount difference — since the discounted $1,500 setup fee was contingent on completing the 12-month term. The full setup price is $3,000.
Example: If you signed up for Site + Stay-At-Top and cancel after month 4, you'd owe (8 remaining months × $395) + $1,500 setup-discount difference = $3,160 + $1,500 = $4,660 at cancellation.
After the 12-month commitment is complete, the subscription continues month-to-month and may be cancelled at any time effective at the end of the then-current billing period with no further charges. The site becomes fully yours at that point.
5. Jarvis Answers (separate product)
Jarvis Answers (AI receptionist) is a separate Built by Jarvis product not currently bundled with Jarvis Ranks tiers. Refund and cancellation terms for Jarvis Answers subscriptions are described in the Jarvis Answers terms at jarvisanswers.com.
6. Disputed charges and chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. We respond within one business day and resolve nearly every issue without bank involvement. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may be challenged with evidence of delivered services.
7. How to request a refund
To request a refund eligible under this policy:
- Email [email protected] from the email address on your account.
- Include your order number, the tier you purchased, and the date of payment.
- Briefly describe why you’re requesting the refund.
We will respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active Clients by email. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction.
