1. Introduction
Built by Jarvis (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the builtbyjarvis.com, jarvisanswers.com, and jarvisranks.com websites and provides AI-powered services to businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit any of our websites, use any of our services, or interact with our AI receptionists via phone or text message.
Built by Jarvis is the trade name under which RH Private Capital operates its AI services portfolio. References to “Built by Jarvis” throughout this policy refer to that operating entity.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information across our services:
Phone Call Data (Jarvis Answers)
When you call a business that uses Jarvis Answers, we process your phone number, the content of your conversation (voice and transcription), call duration, and any information you voluntarily provide during the call such as your name, appointment details, or messages.
Text Message Data (Jarvis Answers)
If our AI receptionist sends you a text message at your request during a call, we store your phone number and the content of messages sent.
Website Scan and Questionnaire Data (Jarvis Ranks)
When you submit a URL for a free SEO scan, we capture the URL, the resulting Lighthouse and on-page scores, and any name, email, or phone number you provide to receive your report. When you complete the questionnaire to request a preview, we additionally collect your business name, services, location, contact information, and any optional brand preferences you choose to share.
Website Analytics Data
When you visit any of our websites, we may collect standard web analytics information including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and approximate geographic region. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies for tracking.
Business Client Data
For businesses that use our paid platforms, we collect account information including name, email, phone number, business address, billing address, and tokenized payment information through our payment processor (Stripe). We never store your raw credit card number or CVC.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate our AI receptionist services, including answering calls, booking appointments, sending text messages you request, and transferring calls.
- Run SEO scans, generate site previews, build customer sites, and perform ongoing SEO maintenance under our Stay-At-Top program.
- Deliver transactional emails (report card delivery, preview readiness, build status, receipts).
- Improve our services, AI models, and scoring algorithms.
- Communicate with our business clients about their accounts.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Detect and prevent abuse of our platforms.
4. Text Messaging
Our Jarvis Answers AI receptionists may send text messages to callers only when explicitly requested during a phone call. For example, a caller may ask for a business address, appointment confirmation, or payment link to be texted to them. Business owners who use our platform may also opt in to receive SMS notifications when their AI receptionist completes a call, takes a message, books an appointment, or captures a lead. Business owners can enable or disable SMS notifications at any time through their account dashboard.
We do not send unsolicited text messages or use your phone number for marketing purposes. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help or contact us at [email protected]. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your interactions.
5. Call Recordings
Calls handled by our AI receptionists may be recorded for quality assurance, service improvement, and record-keeping purposes. Call recordings are stored securely and are accessible only to the business that the call was placed to and to Built by Jarvis for service operation purposes.
6. Email Communications
If you provide an email address while using a free scan, requesting a preview, or contacting us, we may send you transactional emails (delivering your report card, sharing your live preview URL, sending payment receipts) and occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time using the link in any email we send or by contacting [email protected].
We use Resend (a third-party email delivery service) to deliver these messages. Resend processes email metadata (recipient, sender, subject) on our behalf solely for delivery purposes.
7. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:
- The business you called when you call a number routed through Jarvis Answers (the call was directed to them and they are our client).
- Service providers who help us operate our platform, including Cloudflare (hosting, KV storage, DNS, web analytics), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Anthropic (AI copy generation), Google PageSpeed Insights (Lighthouse audits), and the underlying telephony, speech processing, and AI providers behind Jarvis Answers.
- Law enforcement or government agencies when required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process.
- Successor entities in connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, in which case affected users will be notified.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest where supported by our service providers, tokenized payment storage through Stripe, and restricted internal access to call recordings and customer data.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Data Retention
We retain different categories of data for different periods:
- Active subscription data (call recordings, transcripts, agent configurations, build records, knowledge base documents) is retained for the duration of your subscription.
- Free scan and questionnaire submissions from prospects are retained for up to 24 months for service operations and analytics, after which they are automatically purged or anonymized.
- Cancelled accounts — upon cancellation, your account data is retained for 30 days during which you may request an export. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted from our systems.
- Billing and tax records are retained as required by applicable law (typically 7 years).

10. Cookies and Tracking
Our websites use minimal tracking. We rely on Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or fingerprinting and respects Do Not Track. We may use a single first-party cookie or session storage entry to remember your email and lead identifier across pages of jarvisranks.com so the checkout flow works smoothly. We do not run third-party advertising or remarketing pixels.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Opt out of text messages by replying STOP; reply HELP for assistance.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message.
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

13. International Users
